Academy: 1:30pm - 3:00pm

Junior Academy: 3:00pm - 4:30pm

Northside Middle School Gym

$100.00 for all 8 weeks, or $15.00 per session

Players will learn basic volleyball skills, the rules of volleyball, the LOVE of volleyball!!!!

We wanted to remind all RUV players of the Ref and Score keeping clinic coming up this Saturday at Northside High School.  The clinics will start at 9:30 am.  The Ref clinic will be in the auditorium and the Score keeping clinic will be in the cafeteria.  Each player should bring the handouts for the clinics plus a pen and pencil. 

Roanoke United will be holding positional training. 

Location: Icimani Adventure Center

Dates: Wednesday December 7 and Thursday December 8

Times: 5:00 - 6:30 PM ages 12, 13, and 14

            6:30 - 8:00 PM ages 15, 16, 17, 18

Wednesday December 7 - Setters, Outside Hitters (left and right side), Defense

Thursday December 8 - Setters, Middle Hitters, Defense

All players are welcome both nights of training.  These training sessions are free for all RUV players.

Roanoke United would like to congratulate Cave Spring, Bath County and Roanoke Catholic on winning the state championship in their respective divisions.  We would also like to recognize Hidden Valley, Auburn, North Cross , and Patrick Henry on reaching the state tournament.

Tryouts for Roanoke United are now complete for the 2012 season.  We would like to thank all the players that participated in tryouts this season. This year we had over 250 ladies try out for teams from around Southwestern Virginia.  It is very exciting to see volleyball continue to grow in the area.  We will be updating the tournaments page and finishing up team pages in the coming weeks.  Good luck to all the area high school teams as tournament time approaches.
